first_imgUWF Football Feasibility Committee to Meet Next on March 8 PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida Football Feasibility Committee will meet next on Tuesday, March 8.  The agenda for the committee’s next meeting includes presentations about the NACDA feasibility study and the athletics facilities master plan.  The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at the Alumni Room in Building 12 on the main UWF campus.The committee has also confirmed its schedule through May, including meetings on March 22, April 5, April 26 and May 10.  The first three dates, including the committee’s first meeting on Feb. 22, are sessions designed to provide the committee with information relevant to the future of football at the University of West Florida.  The committee will then develop its recommendation to UWF President Judith Bense over the final three meetings.The committee is in the process of reviewing and responding to four items laid out by Bense:• What are the challenges and opportunities of adding football and additional women’s sport(s)39• What would be the overall effect on the university and the region39• Are there recurring and non-recurring resources available to accomplish the task39• What is the committee’s recommendation on the topic39For more information, including the committee’s meeting schedule, visit the Football Feasibility Committee home page online at www.GoArgos.com.
