first_imgJanice St Onge has been appointed to the steering committee for Vermont’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) process. CEDS is tasked to serve as a plan for statewide economic development policy and implementation, incorporate the regional plans that have already been developed, and address disaster resiliency.Funded by a US Economic Development Agency (EDA) grant, the strategy must adhere to the process and content requirements of an EDA Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). St Onge’s role will include participating with other steering committee participants to assist in the data collection, design, development and implementation processes.St Onge is a resident of Stowe and originally hails from Killington, Vermont. She is president of the VSJF Flexible Capital Fund, L3C which provides subordinated debt and royalty financing to growth stage companies in Vermont’s value-added agricultural, forest products, and clean technology businesses and deputy director of the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund which provides funding, technical assistance, and networking collaborations to accelerate the development of Vermont’s green economy. is external)last_img
