CPP Investment Board names new chairwoman

first_img TD getting new head of private wealth, financial planning Finance Minister Joe Oliver Tuesday announced the appointment of Heather Munroe-Blum as chairwoman of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), effective October 27. Munroe-Blum has served on the board of directors of the CPPIB since 2011. Her appointment as chairwoman is for a three-year term ending on Oct. 26, 2017. She will succeed current chairman Robert Astley, who is stepping down in October.
